Today started out much nicer. Will was still eating Cheerios when we got to the gym so Miss Cheryl told him he could take them in the spaceship. This worked wonderfully! He wanted me to rub his ears (our usual technique to get his ears to pop) for a couple minutes and then went back to eating his Cheerios. The chewing did the work for him (and me!) Miss Cathy is back today, but no Mason. Doc McStuffins is once again his video of choice!
Day 9 at the gym.
Yesterday Tiffany and I were talking about Ben and how he couldn't relate to what Will went through in a day in the gym. It's not that Ben was thinking it was easy work for Will. He knows how hard Will works. I don't think any of us realize how truly hard he does work though. So today Miss Tiffany gave Ben a little glimpse of what that might be like. (although Ben got more breaks that Will does in a 3 hr session)
Ben was happy to have something to do. I think all the sitting around yesterday about did him in! So before she started with Will, Tiffany got Ben started on the exercise bike.
While Tiffany got Will stretched out and ready to Ben was warming up on the bike.
Will went to work on tall kneeling at the mirror, which was drastically different from yesterday. I think his afternoon nap helped!

Ben finished on the bike and moved on to the treadmill. 16 mins on each. Tiffany told him 15 but he pushed it by one minute.
Right on to the next thing for Ben several step exercises. I think he's going to feel those legs after these!
After that he did all of this...
I think Will liked having Ben in the gym.
Will walked on the treadmill for 10 minutes again today. This time is looked better. He's getting there! Then he moved on the single jumps. He loves to jump. He gets through the single jumps so he can "crazy jump". That is his favorite I think!
Now to my favorite. I don't know why I like this so much. It's just another way that Will can get around totally independent. When Meme was visiting Will picked this mode of transportation to get himself into the bedroom at the hotel to show her something. I love it!
While Will was bear walking, this is what Ben was doing...
Finally Will is done for the day, this is his final activity. Notice today he is minus the suit. He is a bit more unsteady but still does an awesome job! I'm very proud of both of my boys for their hard work today. I think Ben has a brand new appreciation for his little brother, not that he didn't appreciate him before!
Did you notice the tired boy in the background!
Dive # 23 Another rough one. Ugh! Will wanted to sing Summer with Olaf before entering the spaceship. This would have been fine if he didn't stop and start over about 3 times! Silly boy. He insisted on finishing the song. We were the only ones diving but I still didn't want to let this continue. There is a schedule to keep and Will needs to understand that. I finally counted down from 10 and told him it was time to go. I scooped him up and carried him over to the shelf and "helped" him put Olaf on the top. Then we climbed aboard. There were tears once again when the chamber door closed. At least we were alone and no one else had to listen to this fit. I think it is a combination of him being tired, but even more than that I think it's the oxygen going to work. Will is realizing that he has a choice (even though he really doesn't). He has things he wants to accomplish before getting in the chamber and he wants to do what he wants to do. He's always been a laid back easy going little guy. He's still that little boy, but he definitely have his own agenda now. His imagination is increasing, his language/vocabulary is exploding and his stubbornness is too! You have to take the good with the bad! I'm just glad there are an overwhelming amount of good to overshadow the bad! No complaints here!
