Will makes three...

It has been soooo long since I've posted anything on here.  Sorry!  I started a Facebook page ( Will's Kansas City Round-up ) for him and have been posting there.  I have missed posting to the blog though so I'm going to try to keep both going!  So the countdown is on for our next Kansas City trip!  Will and I will be leaving Sunday, yes, this Sunday!  He begins his 3 weeks of therapy at 8:00 Monday morning with Miss Cheryl in the oxygen chamber!  He will also be working with Miss Tiffany again this summer for Physical Therapy.  I realize the last time I posted on the blog was the summer of 2017 when I played the part of the therapist.  I'm glad Tiffany agreed to work with him again.  I tried my best, but I am NOT a therapist!  So anyway, no pictures as of now but I'll try to catch you up soon on Mr. Will and I will do my best to keep you in the know as we get started in KC in just a few days! 

Dive 36- Josie and Will.  Started the day with another dose and oxygen and Mickey Mouse! Our last solo workout in Miss Tiffany's gym.  We skipped the yoga today and went right for the stairs.  Will grabbed his canes and some friends and got started.  As he was walking it occurred to me how often I took for granted when Ben and Isabel went walking across the floor with toys in their hands.  Just think about that for a minute...then watch this video! He carried Mario and Luigi to the stairs.  I carried them up the stairs and then he proceeded to throw them down.  Typical kiddo! After getting hurled down the stairs now poor Mario has to be thrown in a hoop!  Poor guy! He threw all of Mario's friends in the basket too.   Then he made his way across the room to leave Miss Tiffany one last message.  He made it about halfway when he fell, but you know Will, he got right up and finished the job! I think Will enjoy...

Dive 34 & 35 were the same two kiddos with the same two movies.  Mickey Mouse in the a.m. Cars in the p.m.  😏 In between dives we headed to Miss Tiffany's gym.  Will worked hard again today.  We started out with our yoga again and then in was right to work! This is something that just happened today... Backing up is sometimes necessary!   Now onto some squats!  Beanbag style! Will is pretty proud of his abilities.  (I am too!)  Check him out here! Now let's try to blow some bubbles while standing with poles, considerably harder! This is just a bonus video... Dive #31 Will, Josie and Mickey Mouse! After the dive we headed to Miss Tiffany's gym again.  I have a feeling we will be working there for the rest of the week! Let's get the day started with a little yoga! Will is always aware of the video camera.  I set it up and then walked away to grab the poles and this is what happened when I reminded him it was on. Aunt Jess and Uncle Adam sent some M&M's for Will (he does love them!)  I brought some to the gym today for some motivation.   Now on to those pole that I grabbed.  I love these things!  They offer just a bit of help, but not nearly as much as the canes.  He's practically doing it on his own! Dive 29- Mr. Will and Josie.  Mickey Mouse, our morning ritual! After the dive Will headed over to Miss Tiffany's gym.  I guess we'll stick around, he likes working in there!  He basically set the whole day up, I only added one thing!  He started himself on the stairs.  I just stood back and filmed! Rock on , Mr. Will! This next thing I added.  The next time you get up from sitting (in a chair for example) think about what all goes into that. I think this will be something he could master when we come back this summer!  By the way, Miss Tiffany will be back for that one!   Back to Will's plan.  He didn't want me to video him getting into position but I thought it showed a lot of good work on Will's part.  Pulling yourself on a scooter is an amazing workout!   Now for the "real" video.  Will set up all the pins and now he is kicking them over, according to his plan! Happy Monday!  It's week 3.  We're almost finished.  Will is ready to go home.  He is missing his Daddy, (and he just saw him yesterday!). Phil and the kids came in Friday night and stayed until yesterday afternoon.  We filled the weekend with as much as we could!  Two movies (me and big kids), 3 dives (Will and his daddy), indoor skydiving (Ben and Isabel), and church (together!)!  Together again!  My kiddos!  Will's waving to the camera!
