The morning started out a little rough. For starters we got to the gym a couple minutes late. Doc Judy was back with us this morning and was there waiting. She and Miss Cheryl were having a good conservation so they didn't mind, but I did. I was trying to get Will ready and in the chamber as quickly as possible. Mr. Will had other ideas. He wanted to tell me something about Giant Olaf, but couldn't get it out! It probably didn't help that I was trying to rush him. Olaf is not allowed in the chamber due to the material he is made out of and the small voice box hidden away in his belly. Will knows this and understands it. I think he was trying to say he wanted to put Olaf on the shelf (the typical routine for Woody and Jessie, poor toy story friends, pushed aside for a pull apart snowman!). I asked him if that is what he wanted to do, but he didn't answer so I carried him into the chamber, like usual. This upset Will terribly! I was trying to rationalize with him and calm him down. He's never been like this in the chamber. I was praying it wouldn't last! Captain David came in and we put got Will ready for the dive. I decided to get Will out of the chamber and try to figure out what was going on. At this time Doc Judy's husband is also trying to figure out how to help. Will did, in fact, want to set Olaf on top of the shelf. So I hoisted him up just above my reach to let him set Olaf up. Will wanted Olaf to stand up. Unfortunately the giant snowman is a bit top heavy and fell over to the side. This upset Will even more! Mr. Sid was trying to help him stand up so Will and I got back into the chamber. Will was still not happy, but the show has to go on! Captain David asked if we should get it started. I gave the ok and we were off. Will cried pretty hard for a few more minutes. I was really feeling sorry for Doc Judy! I finally got Will to calm down and Miss Cheryl started Frozen on the TV, good thinking! Then she put Olaf in the window of the spaceship, again the usual routine. All was well! I'm not sure what was going on, but when I was hugging and kissing on Will to calm him down he felt a little warm. I don't know if he just got himself worked up and heated up or if he's really dealing with something else. Phew! What a way to start the halfway point!
Day 8 at the gym. I obviously warned Miss Tiffany that Will might be out of sync today. She proceeded with care. You can see from this first video that Mr. Will was just a bit shaky this morning.
Dive # 21 was much better. Mason was back for this one. Bug Life played on the TV. Will seemed to like it. It was an uneventful dive...the kind I like!
We went back to the hotel where Will fell asleep with a banana in his hand. I think that pretty much sums it up!
The time at the mirror was full of shakiness so Miss Tiffany thought it might be time for Will's Wiggle Time...
I think the wiggle time helped, but Will is still just a little wobbly today. I think his little body is just exhausted! He did do some great things though. While walking on the treadmill for example, he did this...
Will got a little free time to spend with his new friend Olaf, while standing on the treadmill. Can you make out what he's signing? Any Frozen fans out there? Listen closely!
Now on to jumping. Check out Mr. Will's dimples. He's a happy boy!
He got the single jumps out of the way, now for the really fun ones!
He keeps getting better at standing up from a sitting position. Miss Tiffany is giving him less help every day. It's so exciting to see the progress happening in just a week in a half.
