Dive #31
This morning went well. Will and Josie watched Mickey Mouse, happily and Mr. Austin slept. I got some reading in and life is good!
Day 11
Today had some lows but also some very nice highs! Will started off strong with some nice bridges.
He got the rest of his warm ups in and moved on to knee walking. He's still improving on this.
Next was the scooter, barefoot. Remember when he started this last week. Miss Tiffany had to give him a little help from behind and he barely made it anywhere. Check him out now!
Now this is the part of the day that fell apart. Mr, Will had a little melt down. I'm not sure what happened exactly, but I can tell that he definitely recovered! He did a couple flower/candles and then some fantastic work!
Pretty great huh! Oh wait...there's more! Miss Tiffany got out some new tools. Plunger Poles! They look a little silly, but check out what Will does with them!
From there it just kept getting better! Watch this next one. He has to save the minion and doesn't even realize how amazing that is! This video is a little lengthy, but worth it...I promise!
Holy Plunger Poles! Wasn't that amazing! I'm loving those things! Now that Will has stood with the poles, let's see how he does ON HIS OWN! Again, a quite lengthy video, but you will not want to miss the ending!
What a day and this wasn't everything. Next Will went upstairs and walked down the "big stairs" and climbed in the tractor tire and then back up the stairs. I have video of that but I figured this was enough for one day! I'll save tractor tires for another!
Dive #32
So, this is Mr. Austin's last dive. He's gotten 40 in and he's ready to get home! I'm going to miss him and his Mom, Julie. You kind of get used to having the same people in the chamber and then when they leave, it's kind of sad. I know he's going home to bigger and better things though! His mom didn't join us today, instead she turned Austin over to me while she finished packing their hotel room and getting their dogs ready for the trip home. I feel honored that she trusts me to watch over Austin, although he is no problem! He sleeps the whole time! Well, he tries anyway. Today Miss Josie is LOVING the movie. Miss Cheryl put the movie Home in. Will was pretty nervous that Josie wouldn't like it. He wanted Miss Cheryl to change it to Mickey Mouse. Miss Cheryl promised she would change it if Josie was unhappy. Not a chance! She loved it! She squealed with delight! Will watched the movie happily and let his eyes (not his head) look over her way if she got too close to him. I think he was still nervous that she would start crying any minute. She did not! Austin tried to sleep although he struggled to stay asleep with the squeals! Grandma Linda and I laughed and enjoyed the dive!
