It's Friday! Day 5 of the gym and Dives 11 & 12

Good Morning!  Will actually woke up by himself this morning.  A sure sign that he got enough sleep last night!

Dive 11
This morning it's Mr. John, Mr. Chet, Will and myself.  The guys are talking politics, then switch to comparing work stories.  They find they have much in common.  Funny how that happens in the oxygen chamber.  I've met some very good friends in here!  Will is thrilled that he gets to watch Doc McStuffins again. (I have to get out this weekend and look for another Doc dvd!)  John has the episodes memorized by now!  Mr. Chet is really hoping for Minions next dive.  (I'll see what I can do!)

Day 5- One week down, two to go!

This morning Will had an idea of what he wanted to do.

It's nice when he starts off with energy!  Now on to the traditional warm-up...dead bug, popcorn and a little yoga stretching.

A much more coordinated, happy boy!

Next Will pushed the shopping cart over to the "yellow brick road" where he found the scooter.  He transferred from standing with the cart to sit on the scooter and proceeded to knock down the bowling pins.  He collected the pins and was on his way back down the "yellow brick road" when he stopped to say hi!

After Will finished this task, he got back behind the shopping cart and pushed it over to the stairs.  He climbed the stairs once with the suit off and once with it on and then headed for the bike, by way of canes.  Miss Tiffany assisted quite a bit today, but he's getting there!

Now, Prepare yourself for this next video.  I just have to brag for a minute!  This little boy went from being pushed the first day to now chasing Miss Tiffany.  He even got himself free from a few tight spots today with some assistance.  I'm so impressed with this little guy.  He is having some much fun "learning to ride a bike", there's no therapy in that...not to him!

Pretty good work for the first week.  Now on to a relaxing weekend...right after Dive #12.

Dive 12 was a full one!
I have to admit, when it's full I get a little anxious.  I did pretty well today.  I started everyone off with my flower/candle breathing (more for my benefit than theirs)!
There were 9 people total.  Miss Cindy, Mr. Chet and the boys (Matthew and Walter), Maria and Richard, Mr. John and Will and myself.  It went really well considering.  Will agreed, after Mr. Chet personally asked him, to watch Despicable Me (Doc McStuffins is really hard on these adult men!)  I sat back on my corner of the bench and wrote in my journal and read my book.  No big deal!  Ha!

We'll be diving this weekend, but I'm taking a break from the blog.  I will catch back up Monday evening.  Thanks for following out little journey, it wouldn't be possible without the support of all of you!  Have a great weekend!

The Final Week! A fun filled weekend with family and dives 27 &28

Happy Monday!  It's week 3.  We're almost finished.  Will is ready to go home.  He is missing his Daddy, (and he just saw him yesterday!). Phil and the kids came in Friday night and stayed until yesterday afternoon.  We filled the weekend with as much as we could!  Two movies (me and big kids), 3 dives (Will and his daddy), indoor skydiving (Ben and Isabel), and church (together!)!  Together again!  My kiddos!  Will's waving to the camera! All the happy divers...Phil, Grandma Linda, Mason (front and center!) Josie and Will! I had a fun surprise for Ben and Isabel!  Indoor Skydiving!  They LOVED it!  Score one for MOM!  It was fun to watch.  Will said he's going to do it next time!  I might just try it too!   They take you out once to let you figure it out and then give you a second flight to go much higher! The first video shows Isabel's first flight, the instructor said sh...

Hello Friday!!! Dives 36 and 37

Dive 36- Josie and Will.  Started the day with another dose and oxygen and Mickey Mouse! Our last solo workout in Miss Tiffany's gym.  We skipped the yoga today and went right for the stairs.  Will grabbed his canes and some friends and got started.  As he was walking it occurred to me how often I took for granted when Ben and Isabel went walking across the floor with toys in their hands.  Just think about that for a minute...then watch this video! He carried Mario and Luigi to the stairs.  I carried them up the stairs and then he proceeded to throw them down.  Typical kiddo! After getting hurled down the stairs now poor Mario has to be thrown in a hoop!  Poor guy! He threw all of Mario's friends in the basket too.   Then he made his way across the room to leave Miss Tiffany one last message.  He made it about halfway when he fell, but you know Will, he got right up and finished the job! I think Will enjoy...

Week 3, Tuesday, Dives 29 & 30

Dive 29- Mr. Will and Josie.  Mickey Mouse, our morning ritual! After the dive Will headed over to Miss Tiffany's gym.  I guess we'll stick around, he likes working in there!  He basically set the whole day up, I only added one thing!  He started himself on the stairs.  I just stood back and filmed! Rock on , Mr. Will! This next thing I added.  The next time you get up from sitting (in a chair for example) think about what all goes into that. I think this will be something he could master when we come back this summer!  By the way, Miss Tiffany will be back for that one!   Back to Will's plan.  He didn't want me to video him getting into position but I thought it showed a lot of good work on Will's part.  Pulling yourself on a scooter is an amazing workout!   Now for the "real" video.  Will set up all the pins and now he is kicking them over, according to his plan! Miss Cheryl poppe...
