Dive #21
Josie, Will and Mr. Mark were on board this morning. We started with Home, (Will's pick this time) but about 20 minutes into the dive Miss Josie started to disagree. Miss Cheryl took the cue and changed it to Mickey Mouse...Miss Josie knows what she wants! After Mickey's voice came on, the tears turned off! Mr. Will was fine with the change and the rest of the dive was pretty quiet.
After the dive we came back to the Rezzi and had a late breakfast. Then we worked on some math, telling time specifically. We watched a couple telling time videos on youTube and took turns adjusting our paper clock to different times, both hour and half-hour. After that we didn't do much! The therapist in me was feeling lazy! I let Will play Mario Bros for awhile and I cleaned up the kitchen. Finally I decided we had to do something! We went down to the front desk, checked out a basketball and headed outside.
Will has been playing (working on his skills) with the special olympics. They work on passing the ball and shooting baskets. The Rezzi hoop was a little tall for shooting but we had some great practice on passing the ball! Sorry, the video is a little loud. It was windy today!
Dive #22
Mr. Will, Miss Josie and Miss Mason
Mark decided he needed to see his family and took off for a few days. I hope he comes back to complete his 40 dives! Miss Mason (Cheryl's daughter) took a fall last night and bumped her head. 😢 She joined us today and will be joining us again tomorrow as well. Poor Mason! HBOT is excellent for concussions. Good thing her Momma runs the machine!
This afternoon we met Mason and Cheryl at Chipotle for dinner. After that Will and I hit the pool. I guess we are making today our recreation therapy day! Our pool time started out slowly, but soon Will was swimming away!
Will and I have been talking about swimming lessons. I just got his lessons on the calendar for this summer! He was talking about Ms. Marilu and Ms. Joc in the pool today!
We were joined by a little boy "Sonny" and his family. Sonny was quite friendly. He wanted us to watch his cannonballs, over and over again! He wanted to hang out with Will, which Will liked, so it was pretty fun. By the end of our swimming time Will was putting his face in and swimming away. I'm excited about his lessons this summer!
On the way back to the room we stopped by the front desk, it seems we had a package!
Phil and the kids are coming this weekend! Will and I are both very excited!
