Dive 37 & 38. Day 14

It's so hard to believe we're down to one day left.  It may not seem that way to my hubby and kids at home, but this has flown by.  (It always does.  Don't get me wrong, I miss my family and can't wait to see them tomorrow!) Dive 37 When we got to the spaceship today there was a new diving partner.  I don't know her story but Miss Hudsyn is pretty cute.  She has a nurse ( I think) diving with her today and Captain David rides along too!  It's a pretty quiet ride.  Will watched the Disney channel and all was well. Day 14 As I said before, the time really has gone by quickly.  Will is doing quite well at the gym.  Awe, who am I kidding...he's done great!  He can definitely improve on the beginning skills Miss Tiffany introduced on week one, but he has come so far in such a short amount of time.   This is also improving, although he just about bit the dust in his earlier attempt (we'll just delete that clip!) Now on to...

Dive# 35 and 36 Day 13 day at the gym

Will was exhausted yesterday.  I started driving around Kansas City right after we left dive 34 in hopes of getting Will to take a little nap.  It wasn't until I was getting ready to pull back into Rezzi (giving up) when I looked in the mirror and saw a tuckered out little Will.  Ugh!  The problem...it was 4:30 at the time!  I decide to let him sleep for 30 minutes and that's it.  I was worried that Will wouldn't want to go back to sleep a few hours later.  Fast forward to 10:00 pm and my little guy was STILL AWAKE!  Oh Boy! When we're here I dress him in his "gym clothes" for pajamas.  That way I don't have to get him dressed in the morning.  This morning totally explains why I do that.  At 7:45 I grabbed Will out of bed and put him in the car to make it right on time to our 8:00 dive.   Dive 35 is once again just us.  Will eats his breakfast during the ear popping time and all is well.   Day 13 at the gym (...

Dive #33 and #34, Day 12 at the gym (3 days to go...)

Dive 33 is once again Will and myself.  Will snuggles in to watch Mickey Mouse on television and eats a breakfast bar while the ear popping would regularly happen.  I actually finished my journaling before I put his "space-helmet" on.  I snuggle into my new book, The Paris Wife. Day 12 at the gym It's a dark and rainy morning in Kansas City and Will is once again moving slow.  I think he might be getting bored with his routine.  After he set up the pins and then knocked them down walking with Alfie and after he beat Miss Tiffany at their race...again.  We tried something new.  Will thought it was a great idea! Tiffany thought Will might lean on the cart, but he didn't...maybe he'll get to do this again tomorrow! On to the mirror.  Will has really excelled in this!  Tiffany is impressed with his side stepping.  I remember back to our first trip when Will was hanging onto the windowsill and screaming for help.  His hips were ...

Dive 31 & 32 Day 11 at the gym...It's our last week!

It's just Will and myself this morning, we settle into our normal diving routine.  I can't believe we're at dive 31!  It really has gone by so quickly.  I say that from here, Kansas City, where I have one primary concern...Mr. Will.  I talked to the hubs this morning...I don't think it has gone quite so quickly for him.  He's putting in some mandatory hours at work and of course putting in overtime at home too.  Being a single Dad to two school aged children is no easy gig!  Throw in a couple evening meetings and an attention hungry puppy and it's enough to make a guy very tired!  I'll be home soon honey! Day 11 Will is moving kind of slow this morning.  Maybe it's because it's Monday or it could be our evening at the park Saturday night.  We had a VERY RELAXED  day yesterday but I don't know that it was enough.  Poor guy had a tough time getting started.  He even had a crash...don't worry, he wasn't hurt. I ran a ...

Lazy Sunday (still got in dive 29 & 30!)

Dive 29 Miss Tessa is joining us this morning.  Tessa is Miss Tiffany's daughter who is a track star and a very active girl.  She sprained her ankle over the weekend and has landed herself in the spaceship.  Isn't that amazing the different things HBOT works for!  If you haven't gone to HHI's website yet, you really should.  There is tons of information on there and you might just see a familiar face or two! Go take a look!   www.oxygenunderpressure.com After our morning dive we were going to do laundry but the washers were full so instead we took the day to rest, just as God intended! Back to the spaceship for Dive 30 Tessa was back again and this time she brought the movie...FROZEN!!  We couldn't find our copy of Frozen when we packed up so Will hasn't seen it in a couple weeks.  I was happy to see it again too! After this dive I called in an order at my fav Mexican restaurant.  We drove to pick it up and then it was back to ...

Dives 27 & 28

The amazing Miss Cheryl met us at the spaceship this morning for a late morning (10am) dive 27. Thanks Miss Cheryl for letting us relax a little this morning!  We even got to go to the Rezzi's dining room for breakfast before we left.  We never do that!  Will just had to wear his new "cat costume" that I whipped up last night. Saturday (2:00)  making the total 28 and counting... It was just Will and me again, like this morning.  Miss Cheryl and her daughter Mason met us there again.  Cheryl and I discuss a plan for getting together later.  Cheryl and Masy are heading to the park and have invited us to go.  Will is very excited.  I had to put the events of the day in order so he would check them off of his imaginary to do list. Next on the list is Mass at St. Therese, then the park!  Oh boy! Miss Cheryl and Mason meet us at church for Mass and then we head to the park.   Mason's Dad is going too! Will LOVED the park!!! ...

Dives 25 & 26, Day 10 at the gym!

Will is getting just the right amount of sleep for a successful day.  I put him in bed again at 7:30 last night and he woke up at 6:50, ready to go!  Perfect!  Dive 25 was another peaceful dive.  Will watched his Mickey Mouse DVD while did my usual routine.  I am so blessed to have a good little diver.  I didn't even have to help him pop his ears this morning and he happily sets back with his hood (space-helmet) on watching television.  Thanks Will for being such a good boy! Day 10 (2 weeks down!) Today was another pretty fabulous day!  Will started with his new favorite trick.   While Will was spinning, Tiffany and I were talking about when he first started at the gym in May 2013.  He has made such huge gains since then.  If you have time you should go back in the blog and look at some of those videos.  I was going to post some here to show you, but they are on my hard drive back home.  It really is incredibl...
